Persami or Saturday-Sunday camping, the most famous camping event for school children, from elementary school to high school. This camping is usually held in mid-August to commemorate the birthday of scouting.

Scout Day Ceremony
When arriving at the campsite, before setting up tents and preparing all the equipment, all members will be gathered in the field to start the opening ceremony. This ceremony marks the beginning of the camping event.
Morning Exercise Together
Morning exercise is unavoidable. Around half past five, all members will be woken up and gathered in the field wearing sports uniforms. They will do exercise together. Usually, each team will be assessed on their cohesiveness and accuracy of movements, and the winner will be announced at the closing ceremony of the camp.
Nature Exploration
Nature exploration is usually held on the second day of scouting. From morning until early afternoon. Here, each team will send 7 to 10 members to conduct the nature exploration.
This activity will be divided into several posts. Each post has its own tasks to be completed by each team, such as solving semaphore codes, participating in knot-tying competitions, and quiz competitions with scouting materials.
Campfire Ceremony
The campfire ceremony is a very enjoyable event. In the evening after Maghrib, all scout members are gathered and asked to circle around a large campfire. The scout leader will give a speech. After that, all members will sing scouting songs while moving around the campfire.
Craftsmanship
Craftsmanship is held to train the skills of scout members. Starting from making crafts from fabric to crafts like pottery. These crafts will then be displayed at each tent. Usually, they are used as tent decorations because the neatness and beauty of the tent will be judged and a winner will be chosen.
Competitions
Competition activities during scouting cannot be eliminated. There are many types of competitions, ranging from cooking contests, dancing, and even some schools hold azan and dakwah competitions, friends.
From these competitions, several winners will be announced during the closing ceremony. For the team that earns the most first-place titles, they will become the overall champion and receive a prestigious trophy.
Night Exploration
In the middle of the night, woken from a deep sleep, then asked to close their eyes using a blindfold. You remember, right, friends? That's right, the night exploration activity.
This activity is often avoided by female members because they are afraid of encountering ghosts. How can they not be scared if the night exploration is done with their eyes closed?
Usually, each member is required to hold each other's shoulders so that their movements can be controlled, and there is also a guide to direct them. However, the guide will intentionally break the hold between members so they become separated, and then the screaming begins. And it turns out, the exploration only circles around the campsite.
From the seven camping activities during scouting mentioned above, which ones do you miss, friends? Perhaps, back when you were still in school, you often felt annoyed when there was a camping activity, but it turns out those activities are so fun to remember and make you nostalgic.
If you get the chance to participate in Persami again, which activity would you like to join? Nature exploration or night exploration?
