Overcome Fatigue at the Office with These 5 Simple Exercise Movements

The busy work that consumes time sometimes makes you, dear hard workers, forget to set aside free time just to exercise. As a result, during working hours, you feel tired and sluggish more quickly due to poor blood circulation caused by sitting for hours and being glued to the computer, even though you are expected to maintain productivity and work performance.
With a busy and repetitive daily routine, you also need to think about your physical condition. Surely you wouldn't want to suddenly fall ill and disrupt your work, right? To avoid unwanted issues, you can do these 5 light exercise movements during your work breaks.
1. Side Neck Stretches
The first effect when you sit too long in front of the computer is feeling that your neck and head are heavy. You can do Side Neck Stretches or simple neck stretches by tilting your head to the left and right so that your neck muscles don't become stiff and painful for about 1 minute, and you can repeat this movement whenever your neck feels sore.
2. Shoulder Shrug
This movement can relieve soreness and pain in the shoulder area. You can perform this movement while standing or without leaving your desk. The way is to lift your shoulders up, hold for a count of 8, then lower them slowly.
3. Side Stretch
Another movement you can do is stretching to the side of your body. Sit up straight on a chair and raise one arm up, followed by tilting your body to the left, hold for a few seconds, then lower. Continue by raising your left arm and tilting your body to the right, holding for a few seconds.
4. Leg Lift
Take a moment to get up from your desk and do light movements to stretch your thighs and calves. You just need to lift your legs forward and backward with the help of your chair, alternating between your left and right legs.
5. Desk Push Up
This is a light push-up movement that uses your desk as support. Perform this movement for several counts and repeat it whenever you have free time during work.
