Stress can be experienced by various groups, from adults to children. Stress is the body's response to occurring conditions. There are various levels of stress experienced by people. Mild stress is temporary, such as nervousness when facing an exam. And severe stress can endanger the sufferer if left untreated.

Most people who experience stress do not realize they are in a state of stress. Or they may even refuse to acknowledge that they are experiencing stress. In fact, stress is a common occurrence due to life's burdens. Stress is often associated with a lack of faith in someone. This assumption makes people even less willing to acknowledge their mental condition. However, knowing the signs of severe stress early can make it easier for friends to get out of a stressful situation.

A way to know if you are stressed is to pay attention to the following things.

Often Blaming Yourself

Do you often blame yourself for something that happened? This could be an early sign that you are experiencing stress. There are many factors that lead someone to blame themselves. It could be due to an environment that constantly pressures you, or it could also be due to past trauma from failures that have occurred.

A good way to combat the feeling of often blaming yourself is to acknowledge and believe that what has happened is indeed destined to happen. No matter how it happens, it will surely occur. What can be done is to take lessons from the incident and try not to repeat it in the future.

Decreased Appetite

For people experiencing stress, appetite will decrease. This is usually caused by thoughts being filled with various problems. Thus, one can forget the feeling of hunger. It is not surprising if stressed individuals often experience digestive disorders such as increased stomach acid.

Easy to Get Offended

Have you ever felt easily offended by trivial things? This could be an early symptom of stress. People who are easily offended usually have many burdens on their minds. Those who are stressed often feel that others are trying to blame them.

Difficulty Sleeping

If you find it very difficult to sleep at night, you may be experiencing mild stress. To cope with this difficulty in sleeping, you can do stretching and take deep breaths. Slowly forget everything that has happened today or in previous days.

Difficulty Concentrating

Frequent Headaches

People with stress symptoms are usually marked by frequent headaches. Stress can cause blood pressure to rise. Because stressed individuals have trouble sleeping, are easily offended, and are quick to anger; their blood pressure tends to rise.

You can relieve this headache by lying down and relaxing. Or if the pain is severe, you can consult a doctor to relieve the headache.

Lack of Enthusiasm and Easily Sleepy

In the previous signs, it was mentioned that there is difficulty sleeping, but in this sign, why is there easy sleepiness? Because stressed individuals usually have trouble sleeping at night but feel sleepy during the day while working.

If you see a friend or yourself often lacking enthusiasm and easily feeling sleepy during work hours, it could be that you are experiencing stress symptoms without realizing it.

By recognizing the signs of stress symptoms early, you can address them sooner and avoid severe stress. Because once severe stress occurs, treatment becomes increasingly difficult. You can try ways to please yourself to alleviate stress symptoms.

Managing mild stress can be done by accepting both good and bad destinies, bravely facing problems and trying to solve them, and not relying solely on oneself. You have Allah as a place to rely on for everything, especially life's burdens.
