Thursday, March 19, 2020, was indeed scheduled as the launch of the New Ayla 2020 and New Sirion 2020 by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM). However, the launch became uncertain amid the outbreak of the Corona virus issue.

As reported by Kumparan, the Public Relation Department Head of PT ADM, Indra Setiawan, indeed stated that there was a cancellation of the launching ceremony for Ayla and Sirion that was to be held on March 19, 2020. This step was taken to reduce the impact of the spread of the Corona virus outbreak that was hitting Indonesia. This is also a form of support from Daihatsu for the government's appeal to minimize activities that cause crowds.

However, even though there is no ceremony, PT ADM will still distribute the launch release of the Daihatsu Ayla 2020 and Daihatsu Sirion 2020. Here is a little sneak peek about the Ayla Facelift 2020 and Sirion Facelift 2020.

Sneak Peek of Ayla Facelift 2020

Daihatsu Ayla Facelift 2020 appears more calm and elegant than before. This can be seen from several chrome accents on the fog lamp cover and grille that have been given black accents. The chrome panel on this latest Ayla resembles a boomerang that further beautifies its fog lights. The grille is also larger than before.

On the side, the Ayla 2020 R Deluxe is somewhat similar to the Toyota Agya S TRD with the Deluxe sticker placed at the bottom of the A pillar near the side mirror. In addition, this similarity is also due to the presence of water channels.

The design of the latest 2020 Ayla wheels is the same as the Daihatsu Sigra, which is 14 inches. The rear part also does not have a significant difference from its twin, the Agya. The new design of the rear lights also has a similar design.

Daihatsu Ayla 2020 has a quite striking difference in the rear bumper, its design is calmer with a black diffuser, a spoiler matching the body, and a little chrome accent on the rear glass.

For the Ayla 1.2 X variant, it looks simpler. Bringing a minimalist impression, the Ayla Facelift 2020 1.2 X does not have chrome accents on the black front bumper lip or fog lamp cover. In this variant, there are no side skirts on the sides. The wheel design is also different from the R Deluxe variant. At the back, this Ayla car is not equipped with chrome accents on the rear wiper, under the glass, and black diffuser.

In the interior, there are several changes, one of which is in the fascia which has a new black design. The AC control is now digital. However, in this lowest variant, the Ayla 1.2 X uses a single din head unit and does not have audio control settings on the steering wheel.

Sneak Peek of Sirion Facelift 2020

Unlike the Daihatsu Ayla which has undergone many changes, Daihatsu Sirion 2020 has very few changes. The changes are only found in the addition of a body kit on the front bumper lip, black accents on the rear spoiler and bumper, as well as side skirts on the sides.

In the interior, the most striking part is that the head unit uses the head unit from the Terios. Not only that, this 2020 Sirion car is touted as the safest car in its class. Why? The latest 2020 Sirion will be equipped with four airbags, two in the dashboard and two on the sides. For the latest release, this car will also feature ABS + EBD braking and Vehicle Stability Control technology.

Latest Prices for Ayla and Sirion 2020
