Prayer That Can Be Done for Rain to Fall Soon

Prayer is one of the acts of worship recommended for Muslims. You are encouraged to pray every day in any condition, whether experiencing ease or difficulty, even when it rains. 

Prayer for Rain

Rain is a blessing given by Allah to humans on earth. With rain, the land that was once dry can become fertile and grow a variety of plants. However, if the rain falls heavily and excessively, it can become a disaster. 

Therefore, it is highly recommended to offer prayers so that rain becomes a blessing and not a disaster. In addition to being encouraged to pray for the rain to subside, when it rains, it is also recommended to ask for other requests. 

You are encouraged to ask for beneficial rain. A prayer that can be recited is as narrated in the Bukhari hadith no. 1032, which is: Allahumma shoyyiban nafi’an. This means, “O Allah, send us beneficial rain.”

The purpose of this is so that the Creator is willing to send down rain accompanied by blessings for all of humanity, especially the environment around us and also to restore this Earth.

There are many prayers that can be offered to receive blessings and favors from Allah SWT. For example, in reading prayers when it rains to ask for it to subside and not bring disaster.
