Jasa Marga Activates Functional Toll Roads in Java and Sumatra in Welcoming Nataru
JAKARTA, DECEMBER 2024, The Ministry of Public Works (PU) will open a temporary functional toll road section to welcome Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2025. The section spans 120.4 kilometers consisting of 90.42 kilometers in Sumatra and 29.98 kilometers in Java.
"To ensure smooth traffic during Nataru, the Ministry of PU will continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Transportation, Korlantas, BMKG, BNPB, BUJT, and other related ministries or agencies," explained Dody Hanggodo, Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia.
As the toll road operator, Jasa Marga is ready to support this policy. An increase in vehicle volume will be anticipated by the management of this Toll Road. The operator will temporarily halt toll road and national road preservation work starting from H-10. The period is from December 15 to January 5, 2025.
There are 4 temporary functional toll roads in Sumatra, including
- Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Section 1, Padang Tiji-Seulimeum
- Binjai - Langsa Toll Section 3 Tanjung Pura - Pangkalan Brandan,
- Pekan Baru-Padang Toll Section Padang - Sicincin.
- Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi Parapat Toll Section Kuala Tanjung – IC Indrapura).

Three functional toll roads in Java are as follows:
- Jogja-Solo Toll Road segment Klaten-Prambanan,
- Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road segment Gending-Kraksaan,
- Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road segment Sadang-Kutanegara.
