If the train is full, you can also use public buses from Jakarta. The bus to choose is the APTB or Integrated Border Transport Busway, selecting the Jakarta—Bogor route. The fare is Rp14,000 with departure times starting from 05:00 to 17:00 WIB.
There are 5 APTB bus routes. APTB number 11 to Tanah Abang travels through the Jagorawi Toll Road, Uki, Corridor 9, then Corridor 1. APTB 12 to Tanjung Priok goes through the Jagorawi Toll Road, UKI, then to Corridor 10. APTB 15 to Grogol travels through the Jagorawi Toll Road, UKI, and Corridor 9. APTB 17 to Senen goes through the Jagorawi Toll Road, UKI, Corridor 7, Corridor 5, to Corridor 2. And APTB 01 to Baranangsiang Terminal, Bogor.
After arriving at Bogor Terminal, continue your journey using city transport number 01 heading to Baranangsiang—Ciawi to get off at Ciawi Market. Not only that, you still need to switch vehicles, which is the city transport from Ciawi-Cisarua to reach Puncak.
