Daihatsu Brings "GROW FOR BETTER TOMORROW" Theme to GIIAS 2024

TANGERANG (17/7): Daihatsu participated in the GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show) held from July 18 to 28, 2024, at the ICE BSD City, Tangerang. Through the theme "GROW FOR BETTER TOMORROW," Daihatsu consistently grows alongside the Indonesian community in providing mobility and striving for a better, more sustainable future.
The Daihatsu booth, located at HALL 8D covering 1,960m², adopted a Diorama concept to provide an exciting and enjoyable experience for visitors along with friends and family. Daihatsu's participation in GIIAS 2024 is one of its commitments to continue to approach the Indonesian community and contribute to the national automotive industry.
The Daihatsu booth at GIIAS 2024 was officially opened by Yasushi Kyoda, President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, and Masahiro Inoue, President of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd, Japan. Also present at the opening ceremony were Gidion Hasan, Director of PT Astra International Tbk; and Supranoto, Chief Executive of PT Astra International Tbk - Daihatsu Sales Operation.

At GIIAS 2024, Daihatsu showcased a total of 14 units, including 1 unit of the electric concept vehicle Daihatsu me:MO; 1 unit of the Japan Domestic Market Rocky e-Smart Hybrid; 2 units of modified models as inspiration, such as Rocky Crossfield and Terios Graphite; 1 unit of the new Xenia ADS X variant; 1 unit of the Sigra made from cardboard as an inspiration and creative use of recycled materials; and 8 other attractive models, such as Xenia, Ayla, Sigra, Terios, Rocky, and Sirion.
In addition, taking the theme of sustainability, the Daihatsu booth also featured a Sustainability Center as an educational entertainment facility to showcase Daihatsu's efforts to achieve sustainable development, including environmental, social, and economic aspects.
There were three types of entertainment presented through the ECO HUB infographics, sustainable production videos, and the ECONERGY game, which visitors could enjoy while learning about one of the production processes at Daihatsu's factory.
During the GIIAS 2024 event, Daihatsu also provided special sales packages with various conveniences for visitors, including special discounts, special credit packages, Lucky Dip with attractive prizes every day, special interest rates, cashback special for trade-ins, special interest rates, free administrative fees, free insurance, and other attractive programs.
Daihatsu also offered test drive facilities so that visitors could experience driving Daihatsu vehicles firsthand. Additionally, there were other supporting facilities such as a comfortable dealing area, value chain, and professional sales teams, making it easier for customers to realize their dream of owning a new Daihatsu vehicle.
