TANGERANG (22/7): Daihatsu is present to color the GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show) which will take place on 18-28 July 2024 in Tangerang. The Daihatsu booth located in hall 8D was enlivened by the presence of various superior products, one of which attracted attention was Daihatsu me:MO.

Daihatsu me:MO is a fun and stylish electric concept car in the Kei-Car segment. The name me:MO is taken from the combined words 'me' (me) and 'MObility' (mobility), which was developed to meet the needs of customers who want an environmentally friendly vehicle that can be used for a long time.

One of the unique things about this concept car is that it has exterior panels that can be customized according to the user's needs and stage of life. Daihatsu me:MO uses the original platform base, and dimensions are 2,955mm × 1,475mm × 1,590mm (length × width × height); and wheelbase distance: 1,985mm, making this concept car still mini or tiny, in line with its Kei-Car segment.

"We present a series of low-emission vehicles, one of which is the Kei-Car segment electric car, Daihatsu me:MO with a fun and stylish design, as well as an exterior design that can be customized according to the user's wishes. "We hope that all visitors can enjoy the Daihatsu booth and have an exciting and enjoyable experience," said Yasushi Kyoda, President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor.

As is known, at the GIIAS 2024 event, Daihatsu will display a total of 14 units, starting from 1 unit of the Daihatsu me:MO concept electric car; 1 unit Japan Domestic Market Rocky e-Smart Hybrid; 2 units of modified models as a means of inspiration, namely Rocky Crossfield and Terios Graphite, 1 unit of Xenia, the new ADS X variant; 1 Sigra unit made from cardboard as inspiration and creation for using environmentally friendly recycled materials; as well as 8 other interesting model units such as, Xenia, Ayla, Sigra, Terios, Rocky, and Sirion.
