(BANDUNG-WEST JAVA, October 1, 2025): To strengthen its market presence in West Java, Daihatsu is greeting the people of Bandung at GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show) 2025, which takes place from October 1–5, 2025, at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom, Bandung.
With the theme "Bahagia Sejak Pertama–The Future of Joyful Mobility" (Happy from the Start–The Future of Joyful Mobility), the Daihatsu booth, located at Exhibition Hall Booth D, offers an exciting experience for visitors and the people of Bandung and its surroundings, especially for prospective first-time car buyers who want to realize their dream of owning a new Daihatsu car.
At GIIAS Bandung, Daihatsu is showcasing two vehicle models: one unit of the Terios, which is Daihatsu's only affordable rear-wheel-drive Medium SUV for the domestic market, and one unit of the Rocky e-Smart Hybrid, Daihatsu's first Hybrid car in Indonesia, which serves as a tangible step in supporting its carbon-neutral commitment. Throughout GIIAS Bandung, visitors can directly test drive the exciting, safe, comfortable, and eco-friendly performance of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid.
Leveraging the momentum of GIIAS Bandung, Daihatsu is also rolling out attractive sales promotions through DAIFEST (Daihatsu End Year Festival), which runs nationwide from October to December 2025. This program offers numerous benefits for all customers who wish to purchase any Daihatsu model. Customers also have the chance to win a grand prize with a total of six Daihatsu cars, including one unit of the Xenia, one unit of the Rocky, and four units of the Sigra, as well as other attractive prizes such as 5 to 10-gram precious metal for several winners.
During GIIAS Bandung, Daihatsu also provides a special sales program with various other benefits, such as daily lucky dips, special discounts, special interest rates, light credit packages, and free administration fees for credit and insurance purchases.
Marketing Director and Corporate Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Sri Agung Handayani, expressed her appreciation to customers in West Java, including the Bandung area and its surroundings, for entrusting Daihatsu as their primary mobility solution, a market dominated by FCB or first-time car buyers.
“We hope that in addition to providing mobility solutions for the public, Daihatsu can also drive the growth of the national automotive market and industry in a sustainable manner, including in West Java and Bandung. Daihatsu is always committed to delivering best-value products that meet customer needs, especially for those who want to realize their dream of owning their first vehicle, as the majority of our customers are in the first-time car buyer segment," she said.
As is known, Daihatsu also continues to strengthen its sustainable commitment in West Java. This is proven by the implementation of the "Pintar Bersama Daihatsu" (Smart with Daihatsu) pillar through vocational human resource development in Indonesia by collaborating with and fostering more than 100 Vocational High Schools in West Java, including Bandung, to produce superior young generations who are more ready to enter the automotive industry. In addition, Daihatsu also strengthens the preservation of biodiversity through the "Hijau Bersama Daihatsu" (Green with Daihatsu) pillar with the Daihatsu sea turtle conservation facility in Batu Hiu Pangandaran, as well as the "Sejahtera Bersama Daihatsu" (Prosperous with Daihatsu) pillar by supporting the spirit of industrial localization in collaboration with more than 200 suppliers, including SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in the West Java region.
