Daihatsu Concept Cars Become a Magnet for Visitors at GIIAS 2025

(TANGERANG, August 1, 2025): Daihatsu's concept vehicles have become a magnet for visitors at GIIAS 2025, which runs from July 24 – August 3, 2025, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. In addition to showcasing mobility innovations and solutions, Daihatsu's concept vehicles also serve as a source of inspiring entertainment, such as the e-Hijet concept, e-Sneaker concept, and Sigra X-Style models.

The e-Hijet is an electric vehicle (BEV) concept for the mini commercial segment from Japan, specially designed for business owners to meet their various business needs. This electric concept car can support efficient delivery while being a sustainable mode of transportation that supports Carbon Neutral initiatives.

With its combination of white and light green exterior colors, the car conveys a cheerful and eco-friendly vibe, in line with Daihatsu's GIIAS 2025 theme, "Happy from the Start – The Joyful Future Mobility." The car provides a spacious cabin that can be customized for various needs, making it suitable for business owners.

Daihatsu also collaborated with the ASTRA Foundation to support SMEs and provided various products like coffee and snacks to GIIAS visitors who participated in activations at the Daihatsu booth. Uniquely, the coffee was served to visitors by a robot located in the rear door of this vehicle, giving visitors a new and unique experience at the Daihatsu booth.

Daihatsu also presented another unique vehicle, the e-Sneaker concept, an electric-powered concept vehicle designed as a personal mobility vehicle for visitors to enjoy a freer and more comfortable driving experience. As a personal concept vehicle, this concept car can travel 12 KM on a single full charge. Three e-Sneaker units were available and became a strong attraction for visitors to experience a new and fun driving sensation at the Daihatsu booth throughout the GIIAS 2025 exhibition.

Furthermore, Daihatsu also displayed the Sigra X-Style (Cross Style) as a source of inspiration for visitors at GIIAS. Based on the Sigra model, this concept car is designed as a multifunctional vehicle that offers a mobility solution by blending the functionality of a compact LCGC MPV with a crossover style, making it suitable for young families with an active lifestyle.

With a two-tone color exterior in sand beige and a dominant black color on the front-rear bumpers, over-fenders, as well as the addition of roof rails and a roof box, the interior, and a 9-inch audio system, the car reinforces a sporty feel and makes it an ideal companion for daily activities and adventures with a modern style.

As is known, as an LCGC MPV, the Sigra continues to receive a warm welcome from customers, especially first-time car buyers (FCB), with this model having sold around 425,000 units since 2016 and becoming the primary choice for the Indonesian public in its segment.
