However, before doing that, there are a few additional items you need to prepare, such as liquid detergent, towels or clean cloths, a bucket, a sponge, a hair dryer, and a vacuum cleaner.

Steps to Clean Car Seats

Let's pay attention to some steps that can be taken to clean car seats!

1. Clean Dirt with a Vacuum Cleaner

First, clean the dust and food remnants on the seats using a vacuum cleaner.

2. Prepare a Bucket and Liquid Detergent

Fill the bucket with warm water, then pour in a little liquid detergent.

3. Clean with a Sponge

Soak the sponge in the bucket containing the detergent and let it sit for a while. Then, squeeze the sponge and scrub all the dirty parts of the car seat. But, don't let the seat get too wet and avoid using a sponge that is too large so that the seat dries faster.

4. Wipe with a Towel

If the car seat is clean, dampen a towel with cold water and evenly wipe the entire surface of the seat with the towel to remove any remaining detergent. 

5. Dry the Seats

Dry the wet seats using a hair dryer. To eliminate odors from the car seats, you can spray a car air freshener or one with a scent of your choice.
