For residents of Jakarta, you can check the number online through a smartphone application called Ranmor & Pajak DKI Jakarta. This application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android phone users.

The steps for using it are as follows:

• First, download and install the application on your phone
• Then register and log in to the application using your Google account.
• During registration, you must input your NIK and vehicle license plate number. Make sure the NIK and vehicle number match the original data.
• Once done, select “Search” 
• Next, information about the chassis number, police number, vehicle tax, and others will be displayed.
• Done.

Meanwhile, for areas outside DKI Jakarta, you can also use the online method. The checks can be done via websites and applications. Here are the sites and applications for other regions:

• Central Java SAKPOLE Application

By opening these websites and applications, residents of East Java, Yogyakarta, Central Java, and West Java can also check their car numbers online. The method is not much different from checking through the DKI Jakarta regional application.

2. Check Directly

In addition to checking online, you can also check it independently or directly. This method is also quite practical for knowing the chassis number.
