The chassis number is a series of 17 combinations of letters and numbers that serve as proof of the vehicle's authenticity. This number can be used to check whether the car is stolen, the result of illegal sales, or modified.
If illegal items are proven, the owner will certainly deal with the law. In addition to checking legality, this number also serves as a requirement for vehicle tax payments.
