1. Check via the official e-Samsat West Java website

Here’s how.

• Open your mobile browser and visit the site https://sambara.puslia.jabarprov.go.id/sambara_v2.
• Then enter the vehicle license plate number you want to check in the "Nomor Polisi" field. Example: D 8012 JU.
• Then select the "warna TNKB" menu. Choose according to the color of the TNKB of the vehicle you want to check. Example: Red.
• Then enter the captcha code in the "KODE PENGAMAN" field.
• Then press the "Cari" button. If the vehicle license plate is genuine, information about the tax amount, vehicle information, and its owner will appear.

2. Check via the official Bapenda (Regional Revenue Agency) Jabar website

Here’s how.

• Open your mobile browser and visit the site https://bapenda.jabarprov.go.id/infopkb/
• Then enter the vehicle license plate number you want to check in the "Nomor Polisi" field. Example: D 8080 HO. 
• Then select the "warna TNKB" menu. Choose according to the color of the TNKB of the vehicle you want to check. Example: Yellow.
• Then enter the captcha code in the "KODE PENGAMAN" field.
• Then press the "Cari" button.

3. Check via the SAMBARA application

Here’s how. 

• Open the Play Store or App Store on your mobile, then download and install the SAMBARA application. 
• Open the application, then select the "Info PKB" icon in the "INFO DAN LAYANAN" menu.
• Then enter the vehicle license plate number you want to check in the "Nomor Polisi" field.
• Then click "Cari" and information about the vehicle status and its tax will appear if the vehicle license plate is registered.

4. Check via the Samsat Online application

Here’s how.

• Open the Play Store or App Store on your mobile, then download and install the Samsat Online application. 
• Open the application, then select the "Cek Pajak" menu. The application will then display a page with details such as tax payment requirements and several provinces in Indonesia. 
• Then click the "Jawa Barat" menu, then select the "Cek Pajak Kendaraan" menu.
• The application will display a page containing the "Nomor Polisi" and "Kode Captcha" fields.
• Then enter the vehicle license plate number you want to check and the security code in the provided fields. 
• Then click "Cari" and information about the vehicle status and its tax will appear if the vehicle license plate is registered or genuine. 

5. Check via SMS

Here’s how. 

• Open your mobile and select the SMS service.
• Then type an SMS in the format "poldajbr (space) license number". Example: poldajbr_D8080H.
• Then send the SMS to the number 2977.
