Jakarta, January 2024, At the beginning of January, several gas station operators raised fuel prices in Indonesia. In addition to Pertamina, private gas stations such as Shell, Vivo, and BP AKR.

A number of gas station operators adjusted fuel prices in January 2025. Interestingly, during early January, Shell made adjustments twice. Shell changed its fuel prices on January 1, 2025, and January 3, 2025.

On January 3, it lowered retail fuel prices which had previously increased on January 1. The average price became cheaper by Rp 120 per liter.

Shell Super dropped to Rp 12,810 per liter from Rp 12,930 per liter previously. Shell V-Power is Rp 13,530 per liter from Rp 13,650. Shell V-Power Diesel decreased from Rp 14,150 to Rp 14,030 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of Shell Diesel Extra specifically for East Java is currently at Rp 13,730 per liter. 

Meanwhile, VIVO and BP AKR raised the prices of all types of fuel at the beginning of January 2025. BP AKR gas station increased the price of BP Ultimate from Rp 13,340 to Rp 13,530. Then the price of BP 92 rose from Rp 12,290 to Rp 12,810. BP Ultimate Diesel also increased from Rp 13,900 to Rp 14,030.

Meanwhile, Revvo 90, for example, increased from Rp 12,044 per liter in December 2024 to Rp 12,690 on January 1, 2025. Then Revvo 92 rose from Rp 12,223 per liter to Rp 12,770.
