This toll exit is better known as the Tegal East Toll Gate because it is located in the Tegal East area, precisely at 34CR+3PC, Kleben, Gembong Kulon, Talang District, Tegal Regency, Central Java 52193 or at KM 279 of the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road. Since the Tegal Toll Exit is part of the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road, you can start your journey from the Police Post at the Pejagan Toll.
- Then head north towards Jl. Pejagan-Bumiayu/Jl. Raya Pejagan-Ketanggungan.
- Then travel approximately 650 meters to join Jl. Cendrawasih/Jl. Raya Pantura/Losari-Pejagan.
- Then look for a U-turn. To reach the U-turn area, you need to cover a distance of approximately 650 meters.
- After the U-turn, continue your journey following the road.
- Make sure you keep going straight to reach Jl. Pemuda/Jl. Raya Pantura.
- Then travel approximately 19 km, and take the left lane until you find the sign for Jl. Gajah Mada/Jl. Raya Pantura.

- Then travel approximately 350 meters, then turn right onto Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto.
