This year, GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) is expected to be more festive than in previous years. The theme of this year's exhibition is "Future Now." This theme was chosen because the chairman of GIIAS, Yohannes Nangoi, believes that Indonesia can have a more developed automotive industry in the future. GIIAS 2023 Schedule
In 2023, the GIIAS automotive exhibition will be held in several major cities in Indonesia. Here is the complete schedule.
1. Jakarta
In Jakarta, the GIIAS automotive exhibition will be held at ICE BSD Tangerang from August 10 to 20, 2023.
2. Surabaya
For Surabaya, the GIIAS automotive exhibition will be held at Grand City and Convex for five days, specifically from August 20 to 24, 2023.
3. Semarang
In Semarang, the GIIAS automotive exhibition will take place from October 18 to 22, 2023, at the Marina Convention Center.
4. Bandung
In Bandung, the GIIAS automotive exhibition will be held for five days at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom, from August 22 to 26, 2023.
GIIAS 2023 Ticket Schedule
For purchasing GIIAS tickets this year, it can be done online or offline. For online ticket purchases, you need to download the Auto 360 application first on your smartphone. This application is the official ticket purchasing app for GIIAS organizers.
The online ticket purchase schedule for GIIAS opens from July 17 to 19, 2023, with a pre-sale method. If you buy GIIAS tickets on those dates, you will receive a fantastic discount of 50 percent. The next pre-sale will be held from July 24 to 26, 2023. However, the discount offered will only be 25 percent.
For the price of GIIAS online tickets, tickets are sold for Rp50,000 from Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, for Saturday and Sunday, tickets are sold for Rp100,000. If you buy tickets coinciding with Indonesia's Independence Day, you will need to spend Rp78,000. This price was chosen because this year, Indonesia is 78 years old. For VIP tickets (specifically for the opening event on August 10), they are sold for Rp200,000.
For offline ticket purchases for GIIAS, the prices are slightly higher. For on-the-spot tickets from Monday to Friday, tickets are sold for Rp70,000. For Saturday, Sunday, and Indonesia's Independence Day, tickets are sold for Rp120,000. VIP tickets are sold for Rp250,000.
Please remember, for Monday to Friday, ticket purchases start at 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. For Saturday and Sunday, ticket purchases start at 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. On Indonesia's Independence Day, ticket purchases start at 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
