JAKARTA, OCTOBER 2024, The year 2024 is indeed not over yet and still has a few months to go. However, the government has officially set the national holidays and joint leave for 2025. This determination is stated in a joint decision letter signed by three ministers or SKB 3 Ministers on Monday (14/10) yesterday.
The establishment of national holidays and joint leave for 2025 can certainly serve as a reference for Daihatsu friends who wish to take a vacation with family using their private vehicles. At the same time, it helps to know the schedule of service providers such as hospitals, community health centers, public service offices, and other similar work units.
Number of Holidays in 2025
National holidays and joint leave refer to Presidential Decree No. 8/2024 regarding Holidays. The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, stated that there are a total of 27 holidays consisting of 17 public holidays and 10 joint leave days during 2025.
This determination is stated in the Joint Decision No. 1017/2024, No. 2/2024, and No. 2/2024 regarding National Holidays and Joint Leave for 2025, signed by the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) at the Menko PMK Office, Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the Minister of PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas, stated that for civil servants (ASN), the granting of joint leave is the authority of the President. The provisions for joint leave will later be established by Presidential Decree, as the highest authority in policy, professional development, and ASN management.
“Therefore, the joint decision of the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of PANRB can essentially be established as a reference for private institutions in planning production as well as for the community in planning their activities in 2025,” said Anas.
