Operational Schedule for IRTI Monas Parking and Latest Rates 2024

As is known, Monas is a historical monument that symbolizes the capital city of Jakarta. In addition, Monas is also one of the destinations frequently visited by residents of the capital or from other cities.

At Monas, visitors can take the lift to the top of Monas to enjoy the beauty of Jakarta's skyscrapers. Additionally, visitors can also visit the National Museum of Indonesia, Joang 45 Museum, Taman Prasasti Museum, National Gallery of Indonesia, Cathedral Church, and Istiqlal Mosque.

If you plan to vacation at Monas and explore all the tourist destinations there, you need to know the parking schedule for IRTI (Indonesian Restaurant and Garden Association).

The IRTI parking area is open every day from 06:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Meanwhile, the latest parking rate for IRTI is IDR 4,000 per hour. This rate applies to vehicles that have passed the emissions test. However, for vehicles that have not passed the emissions test, a rate of IDR 7,500 per hour will be charged.

Therefore, for those of you who plan to visit Monas, it is advisable that your vehicle has passed the emissions test. Because if your vehicle is found to not pass the emissions test, you could face a fine of IDR 500,000 for four-wheeled vehicles, and a fine of IDR 250,000 for two-wheeled vehicles. Requirements to Pass the Emissions Test

For the emissions test location, you can conduct the testing at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office or workshops that are integrated with the government's emissions testing program. To ensure your vehicle passes the emissions test, you need to perform regular maintenance and servicing, such as servicing at an official Daihatsu workshop. Because vehicles that are declared to pass the emissions test must meet the following requirements.

1. Gasoline Cars

For cars manufactured in 2007 and earlier, the carbon monoxide (CO) level produced must be below 3%. Meanwhile, for cars manufactured in 2007 and later, the carbon monoxide level must be below 1.5%.

2. Diesel Cars

For cars manufactured in 2010 and earlier with a weight of less than 3.5 tons, the opacity level must be below 50%. Meanwhile, cars manufactured in 2010 and later with a weight of 3.5 tons must have an opacity level below 40%.

Alternative Parking Besides IRTI Parking Area

In addition to IRTI parking, you can also park your vehicle in the South Gambir Parking area, Dutch House Parking, and Lapangan Banteng Car Park. The rates are IDR 3,000 for the first hour, and for subsequent hours, a rate of IDR 2,000 per hour is charged, specifically for two-wheeled vehicles. Meanwhile, for four-wheeled vehicles, a rate of IDR 5,000 per hour is charged.
