Latest Toll Rates for Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road 2024

Here are the rates that need to be paid when using the Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road services in 2024.

  • Class I Vehicles: Rp11,500.
  • Class II Vehicles: Rp17,000.
  • Class III Vehicles: Rp17,000.
  • Class IV Vehicles: Rp23,000.
  • Class V Vehicles: Rp23,000. 

Note: 

  • Class I Vehicles: Private vehicles (sedans, SUVs, pickups, mini buses, or mini trucks).
  • Class II Vehicles: Two-axle trucks. 
  • Class III Vehicles: Three-axle trucks. 
  • Class IV Vehicles: Four-axle trucks.

Best Route to the Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road

The Ungaran Toll Road is the first gate that toll road users must pass when traveling from Semarang to Solo. The Ungaran Toll Gate connects the city of Ungaran with the regions of Ungaran, Gunungpati, and Bandungan Mranggen. Meanwhile, the Bawen Toll Road provides access connecting the city of Bawen to other cities/regencies such as Temanggung, Magelang, and Yogyakarta. 

If you intend to access the Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road, you need to know the best route to that toll road. Since the Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road is part of the Semarang-Solo Toll Road, you can start your journey from the city center of Semarang. The complete route is as follows. 

  1. First, start your journey from the city of Semarang, then head northwest towards Jl. Pemuda.
  2. Next, turn left until you reach Jl. Pemuda and continue until you find a roundabout.
  3. Upon reaching the roundabout, take the first exit towards Jl. DR. Sutomo.
  4. Then continue until you exit Jl. DR. Sutomo.
  5. Then travel approximately 130 meters to merge onto Jl. Semarang-Surakarta or Jl. Semarang-Yogyakarta or Jl. Taman Diponegoro.
  6. Next, turn right to stay on that road route.
  7. Then pass KFC Candi Semarang, and travel 1.1 kilometers to reach Jl. Semarang – Surakarta or Jl. Setia Budi or Jl. Sultan Agung.
  8. Then turn left slightly towards Jl. Teuku Umar.
  9. Then turn left towards the road to Solo/Purwodadi/Surabaya.
  10. Travel until you merge onto Jl. Tol Jatingaleh-Krapyak. Use the right lane to prepare to exit towards Srondol/Ungaran/Solo/Yogya.
  11. Travel approximately 3.4 kilometers to merge onto Jl. Tol Srondol-Jatingaleh/Jl. Tol Tembalang-Banyumanik.
  12. Then take the exit towards Ungaran/Bawen/Solo/Yogyakarta.
  13. Then take the exit towards Bawen/Ambarawa/Magelang. 
  14. Then continue your journey towards the Ungaran-Bawen Toll Road. Don't forget to turn around at Jl, Semarang-Surakarta/Jl. Slamet Riyadi. Bawen-Salatiga (sign for Ungaran/Semarang/Jakarta).
  15. Then turn slightly left towards Ungaran/Semarang/Jakarta.
  16. Travel approximately 4.3 kilometers to merge onto Jl. Tol Semarang-Solo/ Jl. Tol Ungaran-Bawen.
