Here are some issues related to the Power Window.
Check the Fuse Condition for the Power Window Device
The first step in checking for problems with the Power Window is easiest from the fuse. However, if it has been replaced but still has issues or blows again, there may be a short circuit. The function of the fuse is to cut off the electrical current to minimize the occurrence of short circuits. If the fuse is damaged, it can cause the entire Power Window to not function.
Check the Electrical Wiring and Power Window Switch
If the problem is not from the fuse, try checking the electrical system in the Power Window. Start by checking the voltage at the power window switch, whether the voltage is abnormal even though the battery voltage is good. It could be that the switch needs to be replaced.
Switch damage may occur due to a short circuit that affects the burning of the electrical circuit system of the switch.
Check the Condition of the Motor and Power Window Regulator
If the electrical system and switch are in normal condition, the next inspection is on the motor or Power Window Regulator. Most likely this device has started to weaken, or has experienced wear on the rotating gear part. If the Power Window Motor is weak, it is better to replace it with a new one.
As is known, the Power Window Regulator functions as the mover of the glass connected to the Power Window Motor. It is not surprising that if the Motor and Regulator have problems, the glass will not be able to go down or up.
