1. Check via e-Samsat.id site

The first way, you can check the vehicle tax in Bandung by visiting the e-Samsat.id site. Here’s how to do it. 

• Open a browser application on your phone or laptop, then visit the e-Samsat.id site at the following link https://e-samsat.id/jawa-barat/bandung/.
• Next, the site page will display several columns, starting from "Plate" to "Select Province".
• Then fill in the "Plate" column with the front code of the Bandung vehicle license plate. Example: D. 
• Then fill in the "Number" column with the vehicle registration number or the one you want to check. Example: 8357.
• Then fill in the "Series" column with the back code of your vehicle license plate. Example: IE. 
• Next, fill in the "Chassis Number" column with the last 5 digits of the vehicle's chassis number. Example: 83542.
• Then press the "Province" column and select West Java Province because Bandung is a City and Regency in that Province. 
• If all columns are filled in, press the "Check Now" button and the vehicle tax bill will appear. 

2. Check via Bapenda Jabar site (West Java Regional Revenue Agency)

The second way, you can check the vehicle tax in Bandung online through the official Bapenda Jabar site. Here’s how to do it. 

• Open a browser application on your phone or laptop, then visit the official Bapenda Jabar site at https://bapenda.jabarprov.go.id/e-samsat-jabar/. 
• After the site page opens, you need to fill in the vehicle license plate number that you want to check and the last 5 digits of the vehicle's chassis number in the provided column. 
• Next, press the "Select Province" menu, then select West Java Province menu. 
• Then press the "Check Now" button, and the tax bill will appear on the site page. 

3. Check via SAMBARA application

The third way, you can check the vehicle tax in Bandung online through the SAMBARA application. This application is the official application from Samsat West Java. Here’s how to do it.

• Open the PlayStore or AppStore application on your phone and download the SAMBARA application. 
• Then install the application. 
• Then open the SAMBARA application, and select the "E-SAMSAT MECHANISM" menu.
• Then select the three stacked lines icon located in the upper right corner, then select the "Samsat Services" menu.
• Then select the "Vehicle Tax Info" menu.
• Then check the "I am not a robot" box, and the site page will automatically display a column with the format "XX(space)XXXX(space)XX".
• Fill in that column with the license plate number you want to check. Example: D_8357_IE.
• If the column is filled in correctly, press the "View Info" button, and the tax bill will appear on the application page.
