The first way you can do when you want to check the vehicle tax amount for BN plates is to check the vehicle tax online by visiting the e-Samsat.id site. The steps are as follows.
- Open the browser application on your phone or laptop.
- Then type the e-Samsat.id site page as follows https://e-samsat.id/kepulauan-bangka-belitung/ and click the search button.
- Next, you will be directed to the main page of the e-Samsat.id site. On that page, there will be fields for plate, number, series, and chassis number. Fill in those fields with your vehicle's license plate number along with the series number and the last five digits of the vehicle's chassis number.
- Next, select “South Sumatra Province” in the “Select Province” column. This is because the Bangka Belitung Islands were previously part of South Sumatra Province as it is located on the eastern part of Sumatra Island (bordering South Sumatra).

- Next, you need to fill in the vehicle license plate data in the “NRKB/NO.POLISI” column.
- Fill in your ID number in the “NIK/(No.KTP)” column.
- Fill in the last five digits of the vehicle's chassis number in the “NO.RANGKA” column.
- Fill in a contactable phone number in the “CONTACT (NO.PHONE)” column.
- Fill in an active email address in the “EMAIL” column.
- If all columns are filled in correctly, then click the “Continue” button.
- Next, you will receive a message regarding the amount of the vehicle tax bill along with the tax payment code sent to the email you registered earlier.
- Bring the payment code proof to Samsat if you want to make a payment.
3. Check via SIGNAL (National Digital SIM) application
In addition to the applications above, you can also use the SIGNAL application as follows.
- Download and install the SIGNAL application on your phone.
- Register an account by filling in personal data, email and password, phone number, and a selfie.
- If the account is registered, open the application and select the “Add Motor Vehicle Data” menu.
- Then select “Annual Tax Validation” and fill in the vehicle license plate number along with the last five digits of the chassis number in the available fields.
