How to Check M Plate Vehicle Tax

There are several ways to check vehicle tax online for M plate codes that need to be known. Here are the complete methods. 

1. Check via e-Samsat site

Here are the complete steps.

• Type https://e-samsat.id/jawa-timur/ in your laptop or smartphone browser.
• Then press the “Enter” button or the “Search” icon.
• Next, fill in the complete data in the fields provided on the site page. Starting from the vehicle license plate number, serial number, the last five digits of the chassis number, to the registered vehicle's domicile province. For M plate vehicles, select the province “East Java”.
• Then press the “Check Now” button.
• Automatically, the information on the tax amount that needs to be paid along with the vehicle identity information will appear on the site page.

2. Check via East Java Regional Revenue Office (Dipenda) site.

Here are the complete steps. 

• Open your laptop or smartphone browser, then visit the site https://info.dipendajatim.go.id/index.php-page=info_pkb
• Select the Samsat of the vehicle's origin on the main page of the site. 
• Enter the license plate number in the police number column. Make sure the license plate you enter matches the format (HH AAAA HHH). Example: M 3124 PI. 
• Then enter the security code (captcha) in the captcha column.
• Once you have filled everything in correctly, click the "Check Vehicle Data" button. The site page will automatically display the tax bill along with complete information about the vehicle data. 

3. Check via East Java Samsat application

Here are the complete steps.

• Download the Smart Samsat East Java application from the Playstore or Appstore on your phone.
• Then install the application. 
• Register an account for the application by uploading a selfie, along with filling in personal data according to your e-ID card, a contactable phone number, and an active email address.
• If the registration process is successful, you will receive an OTP code from the application sent via SMS or email.
• Verify the OTP code and then log in to the application.
• Select the "Tax Amount" menu. The main page will then display menu options such as 1-year STNK validation, 5-year STNK extension, vehicle name transfer fee, new vehicles, incoming mutations, to progressive tax.
• Choose one of these menus according to the tax you want to check.

4. Check via SMS

Here are the complete steps.

Type SMS with the format “JATIM” (space) vehicle license plate number. Then send it to 7070 Example: JATIM_M 3124 PI.

5. Check via USSD

Here are the complete steps.

• Open the phone service menu, then type *368#.
• Then press the call icon button.
• Next, several menu options will appear on your phone screen. Press number 1 for information about motor vehicles. Press number 2 for motor vehicle tax info. Press number 3 for tax reminders. Press number 4 for mobile SIM info, and press number 5 for mobile Samsat info.
