Where is the PA Plate From?
Motor vehicles that have a front plate with the code “PA” are motor vehicles operating in the province of Papua. The use of the PA front plate in Papua has been in effect for 16 years. This is in accordance with the government decision in 2008 regarding the change of the license plate code for motor vehicles throughout Indonesia. The following are the areas in Papua province that use the PA front plate code as the motor vehicle code.

How to Check the Tax for PA License Plate Motor Vehicles
If you have a motor vehicle with the PA front plate code and want to pay the tax. Before making a payment, it is advisable to check the amount of tax using the following methods.
1. Check via the official e-Samsat website
To find out the tax amount for vehicles with the PA plate, you can visit the official e-Samsat website. The steps are as follows.
- Access the e-Samsat.id page at https://samsat.id/papua/ via your phone or laptop.
- Then fill in all the data according to the form displayed on the site. Starting from the plate code, number, plate, serial number, the last 5 digits of the chassis number, vehicle color according to TNKB, and select Papua Province.
- Next, click the “Check Now” button and the tax bill amount will appear.
2. Check via the official BAPPENDA (Regional Revenue Agency) Papua website
Next, you can check the PA plate vehicle tax by visiting the official Bappenda Papua website. The steps are as follows.
- Access the official Bappenda Papua page at http://noken.papua.go.id:8125/epen/realfortend/ via your phone or laptop.
- Then select the “Check Vehicle Tax” menu.
- The site will then display the “Check Motor Vehicle Tax” form.
- Fill in the data in the “Enter plate number (without spaces)” column. Example: PA6112AI.
- Then click the “Select Plate Color” column according to the vehicle color in TNKB.
- Next, click the “Display Data” button, and information about the vehicle tax will appear.
3. Check via the SIGNAL application
The third method, you can use the SIGNAL application to check the tax amount for PA plate vehicles. The steps are as follows.
- Open your phone and download and install the SIGNAL application.
- Register an account on the SIGNAL application by entering personal data according to your ID card, email, and phone number.
- Then log into the application and select the “Add Motor Vehicle Data” menu.
- Then select the “Vehicle in Your Name” menu.
- Fill out the form according to the vehicle identity. Including the plate number, five digits of the chassis number, serial number, and select Papua Province.
- Next, click “Check Now” and the tax bill amount will appear.
