Where Do T Plate Vehicles Come From?
The T plate is an Indonesian license plate code found in the areas of Bekasi, Subang, Karawang, and Purwakarta. The complete codes are as follows.
1. Purwakarta Regency
Motor vehicles in Purwakarta Regency have license plates that start with the letter T, followed by four digits, and end with the letter A/B/C. Example: T 1111 BA.
2. Karawang Regency
In Karawang Regency, the last letter code uses the following letters: D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/L/M/N/O/P/Q/R/S. Example: T 1111 RQ.
3. Subang and Bekasi Regencies
For Subang and Bekasi Regencies, the last plate code uses the letters T/U/V/W/X/Y/Z. Example T 1111 UV.

How to Check T Plate Vehicle Tax
You can easily and quickly check the tax of T plate vehicles. Here are some ways to do it.
1. Check via e-Samsat
The first way is to check via the official e-Samsat website. Here’s how.
- Access the site https://e-samsat.id on your mobile or laptop.
- Then fill in all the data according to the e-Samsat site form, including the vehicle plate number, serial number, five-digit chassis number, and select West Java Province.
- Then click the “Check Now” button, and wait until the site displays complete vehicle information along with the tax amount imposed.
2. Check via Sambara site
The second way is to check the T plate vehicle tax using the official West Java Samsat site or Sambara. Here’s how.
- Visit the site https://sambara.puslia.jabarprov.go.id/sambara_v2.
- Then enter your vehicle's license plate code. Example: T 1111 UV.
- Then select the vehicle color (TNKB) or license plate color (red, white, or yellow).
- Enter the captcha code as per the security column.
- Then press the “Search” button. Next, the site will display the vehicle identity along with the tax bill that must be paid.
3. Check via Bapenda Jabar Site
The third way is to use the Bapenda Jabar site as follows.
- Visit the site https://bapenda.jabarprov.go.id/infopkb/
- Enter the vehicle license plate code.
- Enter the TNKB color along with the license plate color.
- Enter the captcha code according to the security column.
- Then click “Search”.
- Wait until the site displays the vehicle identity information along with the tax bill.
4. Check via application
The fourth way is to check vehicle tax through the SIGNAL or Sambara application. Here’s the complete way.
- First, download the SIGNAL or Sambara application on your phone.
- Then install the application.
- Then register an application account by entering all the personal data requested by the application.
- Then log into the application. For the SIGNAL application, you can select the tax check menu and then choose the Province according to where your vehicle is registered. Then enter the vehicle plate number. For the Sambara application, you can directly select “Info PKB”, then enter the vehicle plate number.
- Next, just click the “Search” button.
- Wait a moment until the application page displays complete information about the vehicle identity along with the tax bill amount.
5. Check via SMS
The fifth way is to use the SMS service. Here’s how.
- Type the format “esamsat” (space) vehicle plate number (space) NIK. Example: esamsat_T 1111 UV_3215251234567890.
- Then send it to the West Java Regional Revenue Office number (0811-211-9211).
