One of its main focuses is the capacity addition at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (Cikatama) at KM 71 B towards Jakarta on a situational basis.

“We have prepared services from various aspects, such as traffic services, preservation, rest areas, and transactions. This year, we are enhancing transaction services by increasing the capacity of the Cikatama Toll Gate 8 towards Jakarta,” explained Pratomo Bimawan Putra, Operational Director of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, in his statement on November 21, 2024.

Anticipating the Increase in Vehicle Volume

The increase in vehicle volume during Nataru is predicted to be significant, referring to the peak return flow data from Eid 2024, which recorded an increase of 15.7% at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. Based on that experience, PT JTT estimates that the return flow during Nataru 2025 will experience a similar surge.

The capacity addition at the Cikatama 8 Toll Gate is expected to expedite transaction processes and alleviate vehicle congestion from Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road (Cipali) towards Jakarta. With this step, the traffic flow is expected to remain smooth during the long holiday period.
