The news that Daihatsu Xenia will launch its latest version this year has generated great enthusiasm among the Indonesian people. Xenia, as the flagship MVP family car, has been around since its early generation was introduced in Indonesia in 2004. Now, Xenia will come in its latest version, which will certainly bring new features to enhance user comfort.  

According to information from otomotif.kompas.com, Xenia and Avanza are confirmed to be released this year, coinciding with the automotive event GIIAS or Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2021. GIIAS will take place on November 11-12, 2021, at ICE BSD. GIIAS is an international automotive exhibition that will showcase around 24 renowned vehicle brands, including Daihatsu with its flagship product, the latest Daihatsu Xenia.  

Daihatsu Xenia 2022 Has a More Compact and Spacious Design 

One of the focuses of the latest Xenia development is not only on features but also on the car's body design. The new Xenia design is assured to be more spacious and comfortable compared to its predecessor and can accommodate up to 7 passengers.  

The latest Xenia uses an updated version of TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture). The current version of Xenia on the market still uses a unibody concept combined with a ladder frame. Daihatsu's quality standards are beyond doubt, and with modern technology, the Daihatsu Xenia 2022 is expected to come with larger vehicle dimensions.  

The length of the Xenia can reach 4,200 mm, a width of 1660 mm, and a height of 1695 mm. Furthermore, with the updated formulation, the predicted dimensions will be larger, with a length reaching 4,310 mm, a width of 1,720 mm, and a height of 1,695 mm. The All-New Daihatsu Xenia offers a more spacious cabin for passengers.  

Although its design is predicted to be more spacious, the overall weight of the car is still designed to be light when driven. This is supported by the front-wheel drive engine position with a transverse design, making the engine compartment more compact and providing a spacious cabin.  

Xenia 2022 Is More Comfortable for Drivers and Passengers 

The new Xenia is expected to have dimensions not much different from RWD or Rear Wheel Drive cars. The cabin floor is designed to be flatter, resulting in less noise and minimal vibrations. News about this new Xenia design will provide extra comfort for both the driver and passengers in the back seat. The compact and efficient design offers equal comfort for passengers sitting in the front, middle, and rear of the vehicle.  

With the predicted design of the latest Daihatsu Xenia being more comfortable and spacious, this car is likely to become a favorite among MPVs. Like the previous generation Xenia, which was highly sought after as a comfortable family car at an affordable price, the latest version is also expected to be one of the favorite choices for Indonesian family cars.  

There are plans to launch several versions of the latest Xenia, ranging from standard specs, mid-specs, to high-specs. Of course, each type will be priced accordingly. The higher the specs, the higher the price offered.
