Overview of Bocimi Toll

Bocimi Toll is a toll road that connects the City and Regency of Bogor with the City and Regency of Sukabumi, West Java Province. Bocimi Toll can be considered a continuation of the Jagorawi Toll construction because Bocimi Toll is built just north of Jagorawi Toll.

As previously explained, Bocimi Toll has a length of approximately 56.3 kilometers consisting of 4 sections of toll road. The sections of the toll road are as follows.

Section 1: Ciawi-Cigombong (15.35 kilometers).
Section 2: Cigombong-Cibadak (11.90 kilometers).
Section 3: Cibadak-West Sukabumi (13.70 kilometers).
Section 4: West Sukabumi-East Sukabumi (13.05 kilometers).

Bocimi Toll itself has been under construction since 2011 and was officially inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on December 1, 2018, for Section 1 of the toll road. Meanwhile, Section 2 of the toll road was only constructed in January 2019 and inaugurated on August 4, 2023.

At the inauguration of Section 2 of the toll road, President Joko Widodo waived the toll fees for two weeks afterward. Meanwhile, the construction of Section 3 was only carried out in August 2023 and is expected to be completed in 2025. The construction of Section 4 is still being prepared and is expected to be completed in 2027.

Just eight months after Section 2 of the toll road began operations, Bocimi Toll was closed by the government due to landslides affecting the toll road. However, on September 24, 2024, at 06:00, this toll road was officially reopened.
