This activity has been practiced since the 18th century. The term was popularized by Thomas Hiram Holding, who is also known as the Father of Camping. He was an English tailor who established modern camping. Holding even wrote a book specifically discussing camping.
In camping, there are several terms to know so that communication among campers can be harmonious. Here are 11 camping terms that are worth knowing when camping.
Tent
