Driving comfort is certainly a vital aspect that must be considered and prioritized by every driver. However, as is known, there are many factors that influence comfort while driving.

One of them is the occurrence of the rear seat of the car often making noise while being driven. Surely, the condition of the rear seat of the car that often makes noise will greatly disturb comfort while driving.

This disturbance will definitely make you want to eliminate it immediately. However, it will be difficult to eliminate it without first knowing what the cause is.

Unfortunately, many often guess the cause incorrectly. For those of you who do not want to be mistaken, here are the causes of the rear seat of the car making noise.

1. Damage to the Differential

The first cause that makes the rear seat of the car noisy is damage to the car differential

As is known, the differential itself is an important part of the car. If there is damage to the differential, it can affect the car. Not to mention making the rear seat of the car noisy.

If the damage to the differential is not too severe, you can fix it by readjusting it. However, if the damage to the differential is already very severe, there is no way other than replacing it with a new one.

2. Damage to the Car Suspension

In fact, it is not only damage to the differential that can cause the rear seat of the car to make noise. It turns out that if the car suspension is damaged, it can also cause this.

Usually, this is only revealed when the car is moving at a speed of 50 km/h or more. At that speed, the damage to the car suspension will be evident as it causes the rear seat to make loud and annoying noises.

3. Metal Friction Between Cabins

The next cause of the rear seat of the car continuously making noise is metal friction between cabins. Fortunately, if this cause is identified, there is an easiest way to address it.

The easiest way is to lubricate it with grease. By doing this, the metal friction between the cabins will not occur again. This will then make the rear seat of the car no longer make loud noises.

4. Age of the Car

Meanwhile, the last cause of the rear seat of the car making noise is usually due to the age of the car.

It can be assured that when a car has aged, many components inside it are no longer performing at their best.

This results in those components not being optimal, and many experience deterioration. This includes the rear seat of the car making noise due to the car being old.
