Many car users do not pay attention to or rarely maintain their car windows for various reasons. However, car windows are one of the important parts, at least to avoid dust and prevent various other objects from entering the car. You should also know that car windows are not easy to repair and can be expensive. Therefore, you need to take care of these three parts.

1. Clean the Glass Track You don't want your car's glass track to be difficult to raise and lower. Before that happens, you should regularly clean your car's glass track. The way to clean the car glass track is by applying shampoo to the glass track and then raising and lowering the car window until the shampoo spreads evenly by itself. Use special car shampoo because using other cleaning liquids can cause damage.
2. Check the Function of the Power Window Motor The power window motor functions to move the glass regulator so that the glass can go up and down. The way to check for damage to the power window motor is by listening for the motor sound; if there is no sound when the power window button is pressed, it means the motor is damaged.
3. Check the Physical Condition of the Power Window Regulator The power window regulator is the connection between the motor and the car window glass. This regulator is of the gear type and cable. Damage to the gear-type regulator occurs because the gears have become thin and their shape is no longer as it should be, while damage to the cable-type regulator occurs because the cable has broken. An easy way to repair the regulator is to replace it with a new one.
