1. Yellow plate
A vehicle license plate with a yellow background and black lettering indicates that the plate is used for public transportation purposes.
2. White plate
For license plates with a white background and black lettering, they are used for private or rental vehicles, legal entities, international organizations, and foreign diplomatic representatives (PNA).
This white plate replaces the black plate with white lettering, which is no longer valid. The change in plate color has been regulated in Police Regulation No. 17 of 2021. Meanwhile, for white plates with black lettering accompanied by a special blue color, these plates are used for electric vehicles.
In addition, white plates are also used for vehicles of the diplomatic corps of foreign countries. For diplomatic corps plates, the lettering is usually in blue.
3. Red plate
A plate with a red background and white lettering is used for government service vehicles.
4. Green plate

5. Black plate
