Parts of the Daihatsu Copen that Can Be Modified

Modifying the Daihatsu Copen is one of the most exciting things to do. Doing so allows friends to customize the Daihatsu Copen according to their desires.
Fortunately, Daihatsu as the manufacturer provides convenience for anyone. Especially for friends who want to modify the Daihatsu Copen.
Although given convenience, it does not mean that friends can modify all parts of the car. There are certain parts of the Daihatsu Copen that can and are suitable for modification. What are those parts?
Body Panel
The first part that can be modified is the body panel. It can be said that this is a part that is quite easy to modify. In fact, Daihatsu itself gives friends the freedom to modify half or the entire body panel of this car.
Front Panel
There are two parts of the body panel that can be modified, namely the front and rear. In this subsection, let's discuss the front part first.
In this section, friends can replace a set of lights with a shape different from the standard version of those lights. Friends can also change the hood and front bumper to new ones.
Rear Panel
Now let's discuss the rear part of the body panel. Just like the front part, friends can also replace the set of lights, hood, and bumper in this section. However, in this part, friends can get creative by adding reflective lights to the light set.
Interior
Actually, the Daihatsu Copen already has a fairly solid interior. This can be seen from the presence of a two-tone combination in almost every corner, as well as the presence of several facilities such as bucket seats and audio.
Nevertheless, friends can still make modifications in several sectors. One of them is by changing the interior color.
Engine
The engine in the Copen is also quite solid. However, if friends want to increase the engine's acceleration, they can replace the engine according to their desires.
One example of an engine that can be used for the Copen is a 685 cc three-cylinder engine. This engine can make your modified Copen run at a higher speed.
Examples of Daihatsu Copen Modifications
Before this article concludes, we will provide friends with an example of a modified Daihatsu car. Who knows, the example we provide could serve as a reference for friends who want to modify their Daihatsu Copen.
The example in question is the Micro GTR created by Wataru Kato. This modification of the Copen is a blend of the Daihatsu Copen and the Nissan GT-R.
To create the Micro GTR, Wataru modified various parts. Starting from the body panel, interior, to the engine.
The body panel is the part that underwent massive modifications. Many sectors were changed in that part. Starting from the grill, bumper, to the rear wing.
Among all these sectors, the rear wing is the most prominent. In that sector, Wataru shaped the wing to extend downwards. This was done to generate downforce on his modified Copen. The rear wing is then flanked by a dual exhaust touch wrapped with a diffuser.
For the interior, Wataru did not make many modifications. He only added a red and white wrap to the car's steering wheel. This wrap is then complemented with the Liberty Walk Wataru Kato (LWWK) emblem.
As for the engine part, Wataru replaced it with a 685 cc engine. This engine is believed to produce up to 70 hp.
Those are some parts of the Daihatsu Copen that can be modified by friends. So, are you ready to modify your Daihatsu Copen?
