How to Pay the Fine for Not Wearing a Helmet Online

When you commit this violation, you must immediately pay the fine. If left unattended, your vehicle's license plate could be blocked by the police. This would certainly cause you trouble in the future. To address this, you can pay the ticket fine online. Here’s how to do it.

1. Visit the official online ticketing site

The first way is to visit the official online ticketing site such as https://etilang.polri.go.id. Or you can also visit https://tilang.kejaksaan.go.id. You need to visit this site if you were not given a BRIVA number by the police when ticketed.

However, if you have already received that number, you just need to make the payment. For the payment method, you can pay directly at the bank teller, using an ATM, mobile banking, or through a marketplace.

2. Enter the ticket registration number

The second step is to find the ticket registration number on the ticket letter. Enter that number into the ticket registration number field on the online ticketing site. After you have entered the data, the site will display your name, your vehicle information, along with the violation and the amount of the fine you need to pay.

3. Make the payment

The third step is to make the payment after knowing the amount of the ticket fine. For the payment itself, you can use an ATM, teller, mobile banking, or even a marketplace. Don’t forget to keep the payment receipt.

Make sure to bring it when you visit the court or Samsat to retrieve your driver's license or vehicle registration that was confiscated due to not wearing a helmet.

How about that, the steps above are quite easy, right? Let's always wear a helmet when riding. Not only for your comfort and safety on the road but also to avoid traffic violations
