How to check vehicle tax status
Checking the status of vehicle tax payments through this application is very easy. Friends just need to click the "Tax Info" menu, then fill in the vehicle identity data in the information column.
Some data that must be filled in includes Province, Vehicle Registration Number, and the last 5 digits of the chassis number. Then wait a moment until the vehicle tax status information is displayed.
Three important data points, do not get them wrong
Friends should know that the vehicle tax payment system through this application only applies to annual taxes. Vehicle owners or taxpayers should not have arrears of more than one year. To ensure smooth vehicle tax settlement, friends need to pay attention to the following tips.
1. Fill in complete data
Friends must fill in complete data such as the registration number, Population Identification Number (NIK), the last 5 digits of the vehicle chassis number, and most importantly, fill in an active phone number and email. The last two data points must be complete as they are used for payment data verification.
2. Keep the TBPKP and virtual STNK validation safe
After making a payment for car tax, the SAMSAT will send the ETBPKP and virtual STNK validation that is valid for 30 days. Keep this proof of settlement safe to avoid any issues when going to the SAMSAT office to validate the STNK and request the original TBPKP.
3. Fill in the correct address in the payment code column
During the Covid-19 pandemic, SAMSAT DKI Jakarta provided convenience for taxpayers to stay at home without having to go to the SAMSAT office. The Proof of Payment Settlement (TBPKP) and the original STNK validation sticker will be delivered directly to the taxpayer's home.
This proof will be sent a maximum of three days after payment. However, friends must fill in the latest residential address. This will facilitate the document delivery process to be on time.
