This can happen because when the freon exits the condenser, it should already be in mist form, but due to the excessive amount, the refrigerant that exits the condenser remains in gas form, causing the AC to not be cold as it should.

4. Condenser easily overheats

The negative impact of excessive freon filling is that the condenser easily overheats due to its increasingly heavy workload. If this condition is left unchecked, it can eventually cause damage to the condenser and other components.

5. Increased freon pressure

Having too much freon can have adverse effects on your car's AC condition, such as an increase in freon pressure in the AC system. This excessive pressure can cause damage to the connections of the mechanical components of the car's AC, especially at the hose and pipe connections.

This is also dangerous if the car's AC pressure switch does not work. The pressure switch itself will detect any pressure carried by the refrigerant, so if the pressure is too high, the pressure switch will stop the flow of electrical current to the magnetic clutch.

6. High freon temperature

The excess freon in the car AC also results in an increase in the freon temperature itself, even more than usual. This can cause the freon entering the condenser to be hotter than usual. The car AC will not be able to function properly as it should.

Therefore, overfilling freon in the car AC has negative impacts on various components of your car's AC system. Even though a pressure switch has been installed in the car's AC system to control the pressure, it can still be dangerous if there is too much freon.
