Facts about Lembang Park & Zoo, a Viral Tourist Destination during the Pandemic

Lembang Park & Zoo is a new tourist destination in West Bandung. The exact location is at Jalan Kolonel Masturi Number 171, Sukajaya, Lembang, West Bandung.
Open every day, from 09:00 to 17:00. However, on weekends it opens earlier, at 08:00 and closes at 18:00.
Trial Period since December 2019
In fact, Lembang Park & Zoo opened on December 12, 2019. However, it was only opened on a trial basis at that time. During the trial period, visitors only paid Rp35,000 on weekdays and Rp40,000 on weekends and holidays.
Ticket payments can be made not only in cash but also using debit and credit cards. This is provided to facilitate visitors who want to implement cashless transactions.
Lembang Park & Zoo has received permission to open as a wildlife conservation area from the government until the grand opening a few months ago.
Opening of Lembang Park & Zoo Delayed
Initially, Lembang Park & Zoo was scheduled to officially open in February or March of this year. However, due to the pandemic, the opening plan had to be postponed for comfort and safety.
As a result of the pandemic, Lembang Park & Zoo even had to close its location. The closure occurred on March 19, 2020, when the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia was very high. For about 2 months, this tourist destination was not open to the public.
Finally, Lembang Park & Zoo reopened on June 13 while also conducting the official opening. Because the conditions had not yet returned to normal, regulations from the Regent were implemented so that this tourist-managed park only accepted visitors from West Java.
In addition to limiting visitors to only native residents of West Java, Lembang Park & Zoo also prohibits pregnant women, the elderly, and children under 3 years old from entering.
The ticket prices have also changed from the trial period. After the official opening, to enter Lembang Park & Zoo, visitors must pay Rp40,000 on weekdays and Rp50,000 on weekends and holidays.
Exploring Lembang Park & Zoo and Scooter
With approximately 350 species of animals, Lembang Park & Zoo is suitable for educational tourism for children. Parents can introduce and teach their children about the types of animals present there.
In addition to education, Lembang Park & Zoo will certainly be very entertaining for children. Because, in addition to presenting various types of animals, children can also happily play at various exciting attractions.
There are several children's play facilities at Lembang Park & Zoo, one of which is exploring the park using a scooter. Together with their parents, children will surely enjoy riding the cute and cool scooter to explore the park.
There are two types of scooter available, namely a two-passenger scooter for a rental price of Rp75,000 per hour and a three-passenger scooter for a rental price of Rp120,000 per hour.
In addition to scooters, there is also a mini train that children can ride to explore. For water attractions that feature an artificial lake, children can also ride boats there.
Instagrammable Location
Nowadays, where social media is widely used, especially Instagram, many tourist spots offer instagramable locations. The same goes for Lembang Park & Zoo.
The Bird Aviary has become a favorite among visitors. This is a location where many birds are present. It is shaped like a dome with beautiful birds perched inside. Visitors can take photos with the birds in this beautiful aviary.
Lembang Park & Zoo also has a café for relaxing and dining with family or friends. Uniquely, the available café is not like the usual cafés. The place is as beautiful as typical cafés, but there are also many cats here!
It's called Neko Cat Cafe. This café is certainly a dream hangout spot for cat lovers. Additionally, the interior is also stylish, friends.
