Want to Pass the SIM C Simulator Test? Let's Follow These Tips!

The SIM C simulator test is one of the steps that must be taken in order to officially obtain a SIM C. The SIM C simulator test itself is not as difficult as it seems. Provided that you know how to conquer the test.
In this article, we will provide several tips to successfully take the SIM C simulator test. Some of these tips are:
Study Traffic Theory
The SIM C simulator test consists of two types, namely theory and practice. Among the two, the theory exam will be the first test that you must pass. To pass this exam, you can start studying various traffic theories, such as regulations or examples of traffic violations.
Usually, the questions that appear in the theory exam come from Law No. 22 regarding Traffic Regulations. After studying these theories, you can immediately practice answering questions related to those theories. Fortunately, the police have now provided sample questions that can be accessed here.
Know the Types of Obstacles in the Practical Exam
As mentioned earlier, the SIM C simulator test is not just a theory exam. There is also a practical exam. You also need to prepare just like in the theory exam if you want to pass the practical exam.
One of the preparations you can do is to know the various types of obstacles present in the practical exam. The practical exam indeed has various types of obstacles. The types of obstacles are:
U Turn
This is a type of obstacle that is relatively easy to navigate. As the name suggests, this obstacle has a characteristic shape resembling the letter 'U'. The key to successfully passing this obstacle is that you must be able to perform counter steering when you are at the turn of this obstacle.
Number 8
This one has a shape resembling the number 8. True to its name, this obstacle is quite difficult to pass. Often, participants in the SIM C simulator test fail at this track.
The key to successfully passing this obstacle is the same as the previous one, which is counter steering. For those who do not know, counter steering is a trick where you must position your body opposite to the direction in which your motorcycle is turning.
For example, if your motorcycle is going to turn right, then position your body to the left. This technique will be very effective when navigating the turn in the number 8 obstacle, which is more complicated than the U Turn obstacle.
Zig-Zag
Besides the U Turn, this obstacle is also relatively easy to navigate. You need to have high flexibility when passing through this obstacle, especially in your body and shoulders.
If you are taking the test with a scooter, you should gradually open the throttle and ensure that the throttle remains stable. Do not ride your motorcycle too fast. Doing so will actually cause you to fail to conquer this obstacle.
If you are using a cub motorcycle, then use gear 2 when operating your motorcycle. Using gear 2 will stabilize the speed of the motorcycle while passing through the zig-zag obstacle. In addition to body and shoulder flexibility, the stability of the motorcycle's speed is another key to success when passing through this track.
Avoidance Reaction
Among all the obstacles, the Avoidance Reaction is the easiest obstacle. You just need to focus, especially when the light is not yet on. When the light turns on, you can immediately move your motorcycle forward at a stable speed.
After knowing all these routes, you can immediately practice with your motorcycle. Choose a practice route that resembles all the types of obstacles above, so you won't be surprised when you take the practical SIM C simulator test later.
