Highways are built to facilitate the mobility of the community, such as for transportation. With the presence of transportation vehicles and roads as transportation routes, you can easily visit one place to another. The construction of roads is also related to connectivity.

So, with the existence of roads, one place can certainly be connected to another, such as from village to village, city to village, and so on.

In addition, roads are also related to the economy. With access to roads, it certainly makes it easier for producers to deliver goods to customers. Moreover, employees can easily get to their workplaces. Thus, the wheels of the economy will turn.

Local Roads

Arterial Roads

As a road with heavy traffic, it is not surprising that arterial roads can be up to 11 meters wide. Similar to local types, arterial types also have two categories. The first type is primary with a minimum speed limit of 60 km per hour. Then the secondary type has a minimum speed limit of 30 km per hour.

Collector Roads

Environmental Roads

These are public roads specifically for small transport vehicles that travel short distances at low average speeds. There are two types of these roads, namely primary and secondary.

For the primary type, the minimum speed limit is 15 km per hour and can be used by three-wheeled vehicles. Next, for the secondary type, the minimum speed limit is 10 km per hour and this type cannot be used by three-wheeled vehicles.
