Identify the Disturbing Noise Sources Under the Car

Have you ever been annoyed by strange noises coming from under your car? If so, that must be very frustrating, right? Especially when those noises occur during traffic jams. Your annoyance just increases.
Generally, these disturbing noises are experienced by cars that are over five years old. However, it is also possible for this to happen to cars that have not yet reached five years of use.
Before taking it to the workshop for repairs, you must be curious and want to know the source of those disturbing noises, right? It would be even better if you could fix it yourself without having to go to the workshop.
Well, here are some parts that could be the source of the disturbing noises coming from under your car.
Bushing Arm
The characteristic sound produced by the bushing arm is a loud squeaking noise that is heard repeatedly. Especially when the car passes over bumpy, uneven, or damaged roads.
If the source of the disturbing noise indeed comes from the bushing arm, this indicates that the rubber of the bushing arm has become brittle or inflexible. You should replace it with a new one immediately.
Ball Joint
The noise originating from the ball joint will be heard when the car turns left or right. The characteristic sound produced is a clanking metal noise. Besides being fixable by replacing it, the disturbing noise from the ball joint can also be addressed by applying lubricant.
Strut-Bar
The characteristic sound from the strut-bar is a clanking metal noise accompanied by a squeaking sound from under the front seat, which is smoother than the squeak coming from the bushing-arm. This is caused by a broken rubber in the strut-bar. If this happens, you must replace the rubber of the strut-bar with a new one immediately.
Bearing or Hub
If the sound produced resembles a humming noise, it means the bearing is cracked or broken. If the disturbing noise in your car comes from a broken bearing, you must replace it immediately. If not replaced promptly, the bearing could detach, making it difficult for your car's wheels to turn.
The broken bearing is caused by two things. First, the grease or lubricant has run out. Second, your car often passes over damaged roads or rocky paths at high speeds.
Stabilizer Link
If you hear a soft "thud-thud" sound, either in the front or the back, it means it is caused by a broken rubber. This occurs due to frequently passing over damaged roads at high speeds. If the source of the disturbing noise in your car comes from the broken rubber, you must replace it with a new one immediately. Don't delay, okay, friend.
Long Tie-Rod
The lubricant in the joints running out can also cause a "thud-thud" sound to appear from under the front of the car when the car is in motion. The solution is simple; you must refill your car's lubricant immediately.
Rear Leaf Spring
Squeaking noises can also originate from dry and rusty rear leaf springs. You can address this by applying lubricant or oil. You can also insert a piece of inner tube rubber between the leaf plates.
Shock Absorber
A "thud" sound will be heard if your car passes over potholes, especially at high speeds. At that moment, you will also feel hard jolts, especially in the dead shock absorber.
So those are the parts that could be the source of the disturbing noises coming from under your car. If you already know which part is the source of the disturbing noises, fix it immediately, friend.
