Definition of MSME Assistance

MSME assistance is one of the social aids from the government for MSME actors. This assistance is provided so that MSME actors can survive, especially during a pandemic like now.

This assistance is also part of the Presidential Assistance Program for Micro-Productive Sectors or Banpres PUM. It is planned that MSME assistance can be received by 12 million MSME actors in Indonesia. Later, each MSME actor will receive assistance in the form of money amounting to Rp 1.2 million.

How to Register for MSME Assistance

MSME assistance cannot be obtained for free. MSME actors must register to obtain it. Registration can be done online. To do this, you must follow the steps below:

1. Create a Micro/Small Individual Business License Application

To perform this first step, you must visit the site https://oss.go.id/portal/informasi/content/panduan_mikro_kecil. After that, create a personal account there.

Once done, click on the Business Licensing menu, then click on the Individual menu. If you want to create a license for micro scale, you must then select the Micro Individual NIB menu. Meanwhile, if you want to create a small scale license, you must select the Small Individual NIB menu.

2. Create an NIB

The next step is to create an NIB. To do this, you must first fill out the personal and business data form. If you have more than one business, you must click the Add Business menu and fill in the list of businesses you have.

Later you will fill out another form, namely the Business Infrastructure Commitment Form. If you are applying for a small scale business license, you can also apply for location permits, business permits, and environmental permits.

Once done, you must check the disclaimer box and press the NIB Process button. Later, you can view and print the NIB, as well as other permits that you have created.

3. Create a Commercial License

In addition to the NIB, a commercial license is another thing that must be created. To create it, you must go to the Application menu, then click on the IUMK and Commercial License menu.

Type in the NIB number that you created earlier, then press the Select NIB button. When that button is pressed, you will be presented with a list of businesses you own.

If that happens, immediately click the Select Business Activity button. You will then be given the Commercial License Form display. Choose which commercial license you need, then fill in the available data.

After that, you can save and issue the commercial license. However, before that, you can view a preview of the commercial license display.

Requirements to Register for MSME Assistance

To be able to perform the steps above, you must meet several requirements, namely:

  • Have an e-ID card.
  • Have a Family Card (KK).
  • Have a business field that qualifies as MSME.
  • Indonesian citizen (WNI).
  • The registrant is not currently receiving assistance in the form of credit from KUR or banking.
  • Attach a Business Certificate for MSME actors whose business is different from their residence.

How to Check MSME Assistance

In addition to how to register for MSME assistance, we will also inform you how to check that assistance. We hope the method we provide can help you know whether the MSME assistance you applied for is available for withdrawal or not. The methods are as follows:

  • Open the BRI e-form, then enter your e-ID card NIK, and fill in the available verification code.
  • Perform an inquiry process to find out the result. If you are among the recipients of MSME assistance, you will receive a notification stating “the e-ID card number is registered as a recipient of BPUM/MSME Assistance.”
  • Make the withdrawal at the nearest BRI branch office. Don’t forget to bring identification such as an e-ID card to facilitate the withdrawal process.
