This liquid is claimed to be able to self-seal holes in tires that are punctured by sharp objects. For those who may not know, this tubeless tire sealant is inserted through the valve. When a leak occurs, this liquid will fill the hole, then cover it.

Its texture may be somewhat similar to glue; the sealant or tubeless tire liquid dries very quickly. In fact, it dries much faster after being applied to the tire. 

The main thing to know if you are unsure whether the sealant can still be used or not is to check it regularly. 

Because if forgotten, it is feared that the tire will go flat while driving, or the tire could become slippery, especially after rain. 

How to maintain tubeless tire sealant to work well?

At the very least, this liquid can dampen the drastic loss of air pressure when the tire is punctured by a sharp object, thus preventing the tire from going flat. 

Various manufacturers of this product claim that this liquid can protect tires from .32 caliber bullets. It even remains effective when punctured up to 3.5 cm.

Therefore, many consider it very helpful, especially when a tire is punctured by a nail in a remote area or far from a tire repair shop.

After using tubeless tire sealant, the tire is usually safe for long-distance travel, used for more than 400 km per day. It is also safe when driven at high speeds.

Advantages of using sealant 

Speaking of the usefulness of sealant, there are certainly advantages and disadvantages. One of them is providing comfort and safety while driving.  

To support a sense of safety during the journey, the use of this sealant is quite easy. Just insert it into the tire, and the liquid will automatically coat the inside of the tire. Thus, when there are landmines, the tire will not easily go flat. 

Disadvantages 

The use of sealant triggers some complaints, such as the tire's balance becoming disturbed. Many car users who use this tubeless tire liquid then feel that their tires feel hard, making the tire rotation unstable. 

Now, before using tire sealant, you should first know about the characteristics of the tire being used. Is its character soft, medium, or hard compound. 

Because if used on an unsuitable tire, for example on a hard tire type, the hardness level of the tire can increase, making driving uncomfortable.
