Motor Vehicle Tax Waiver in Jakarta Until the End of the Year
JAKARTA, DECEMBER 2024, Good news for vehicle owners in Jakarta. The Jakarta local government is waiving Motor Vehicle Tax. This is clearly good information for Daihatsu friends who have not paid their annual tax throughout 2024.
The waiver program for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in Jakarta is back in effect from December 2 to December 31, 2024. This announcement applies to all taxpayers in the Capital City area. Daihatsu friends are advised to take care of their payments before the end of December 2024.
“The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government provides the removal of administrative sanctions (interest or fines) for the first submission of Motor Vehicle Tax for taxpayers who make payments until December 31, 2024,” wrote the post
on the official Instagram account @humaspajakjakarta.

Working Hours and Services
Working hours services are open at maximum for customers. The DKI Jakarta Samsat service remains open on Saturdays. This Jakarta Samsat service is available until December 28, 2024. Meanwhile, the operational hours are from 08:00 to 12:00.
Waiver of administrative sanctions for the following types of PKB:
- Providing a waiver of administrative sanctions for the type of Motor Vehicle Tax
- The waiver of administrative sanctions as referred to is given for administrative sanctions in the form of interest arising from late payment of due tax and/or fines arising from late registration by making adjustments in the local tax management information system without going through the taxpayer application mechanism.
- The waiver of administrative sanctions in the form of interest and/or fines as referred to in the FIRST and SECOND dictates is given to taxpayers who make payments of the principal tax from December 2 to December 31, 2024.
