1. Sanding

The first step before applying car putty is sanding. This step is taken to ensure that the car body is free from dirt.

Check specific areas that are prone to friction. Prolonged use of the car can cause the body to peel off due to exposure to sunlight and rain.

2. Prepare Primer or Base Coat

4. Resanding

If the putty is completely dry, the next step you need to take is resanding. Smooth out the areas that have been sanded until they are truly smooth.

5. Repeat the Puttying Process

If you feel that the car surface is truly smooth, the next step is to repeat the puttying. You need to know that the first puttying process will certainly leave some uneven areas. 

Therefore, a second puttying is necessary. Please repeat the puttying and wait until it dries as the final method of applying car putty.
