perbedaan strobo dan rotator

The color of lights actually has its own meaning on special vehicles, including strobe and rotator lights. The use of these lights is intentionally differentiated to mark vehicles that have special rights.

Therefore, these lights should not be used indiscriminately. So what are the differences between strobe and rotator lights on certain types of vehicles? Check out the following review.

1. Blue Strobe Light

The use of strobe lights cannot be used by just any vehicle. Only motor vehicles with special rights are allowed to use them, such as fire trucks, ambulances, and others.

There are several colors that are separated as markers for vehicles, one of which is blue. The blue strobe light is usually designated for use on vehicles owned by the police of the Republic of Indonesia.

Unfortunately, not many people know that this light can only be used on special vehicles. In reality, civilians still use blue lights due to a lack of related information.

2. Use of Yellow Rotator Light Without Siren

The next light used on certain vehicles is the yellow rotator light. The difference between yellow strobe and rotator lights and other lights is that it is activated without a siren.

Generally, this light is used for highway patrol vehicles, cleaning, and maintenance of public facilities. Not stopping there, this yellow rotator light is also used for monitoring public traffic facilities or infrastructure.

There are also other functions for this yellow light, which is used for vehicles transporting special loads and also for vehicles providing towing services for four-wheeled vehicles.

It should be noted that the use of these lights can only be installed on special vehicles. If a private vehicle installs these lights, it constitutes a violation of the application of this light.

If this occurs, then they must bear the penalties that have been previously established.

3. Red Rotator Light with Siren

The difference between strobe and rotator lights on vehicles using red lights accompanied by a siren is usually installed on vehicles with emergency duties.

For example, fire trucks, vehicles used by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), funeral transport vehicles, and ambulances.

In addition to being used for vehicles with those special needs, there are also other vehicles that use this red light.

Such as, red lights with sirens installed on the escort of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and prisoner transport vehicles passing through traffic.

However, the use of these lights is only activated for specific reasons and at certain times. The difference between red strobe and rotator lights with sirens will be activated when on duty and not used because of being stuck in traffic jams.

This is regulated by law to avoid disturbing other road users. That is some information regarding the differences between rotator and strobe lights on special vehicles. The use of these lights is regulated by law, so only certain vehicles can use them.
