How to Check Vehicle Tax for DP Plates
Vehicle tax is a mandatory payment for every motor vehicle owner. So how do you check the vehicle tax for vehicles with DP plates? For more details, pay attention to the methods below.
1. Check via e-Samsat website
The steps are as follows.
- Visit the e-Samsat website at the following address https://e-samsat.id/sulawesi-selatan/ using your device.
- Then fill in your vehicle identity data in the form displayed on the website. Starting from the plate code, plate number, serial number, the last five digits of the chassis number, and select the Province.
- Select South Sulawesi Province because several areas using DP plates are still part of South Sulawesi.
- After all the data you filled in is correct, click the “Check Now” button and the website will display the tax bill amount.
2. Check via Bapenda Sulsel app
The steps are as follows.
- Open the Playstore or Appstore on your phone, then download the Bapenda Sulsel app.
- Next, install the app.
- Log into the app and select the tax type “PKB”.
- Then, fill in the available plate number column according to the plate number of the vehicle you are checking. Example: DP 8450 AN.
- Next, click the “Check Tax” button, and the tax bill amount will appear on the app page.
3. Check via SIGNAL app
The steps are as follows.
- Open the Playstore or Appstore on your phone, then download the SIGNAL app (National Digital SIM).
- Next, install the app.
- Don't forget to register an account if you don't have a SIGNAL account yet. You just need to enter your personal data according to your ID card, email address, phone number, and a selfie.
- Next, log into the app and select the “Add Motor Vehicle” menu, then click the “STNK Registration Confirmation” button.
- Fill in the vehicle plate you want to check in the plate number column. Example DP 8450 AN.
- Then click the “Continue” button, and the vehicle tax bill amount will appear.
4. Check via SMS
