The car AC system functions to control various AC components. For these components to function, an electric current flow from the AC system circuit is needed. To help you understand more deeply what the AC electrical circuit is along with its components, you need to pay attention to the following review.

Overview of the Car AC System Circuit

For the car AC system to work properly, it requires a special electrical circuit. The AC system itself is designed to cool the temperature inside the car. This system is usually applied in tropical climate countries. However, in countries that generally have cold temperatures, the AC system is used to heat the temperature inside the car.

In the AC system, it consists of several components that work together so that freon can circulate within the AC. The electrical circuit of the car AC is divided into two, namely the blower electrical circuit and thermostat

The blower electrical circuit functions to control the speed of the blower component through a switch. Meanwhile, the thermostat electrical circuit functions to regulate the temperature inside the car cabin. In this circuit, the electric current can be connected and disconnected automatically.

Components of the Car AC System Circuit

The AC system circuit in a car has various components that you need to know. Here are the complete components.

1. Battery

This component functions as the supplier of electrical energy needed by the car AC. The electrical energy comes from the car battery, then flows to the battery section, to drive the blower motor, magnetic clutch, extra fan, and other AC components. Usually, the voltage capacity needed to drive these components is 12 Volts.

2. Ignition Key

This component functions to control the electric current in the AC electrical system circuit. Inside the ignition key, there are two buttons, namely ON and OFF. When you press the ON button, the car AC will turn on and will immediately cool the cabin temperature. Meanwhile, when you press the OFF button, you will turn off the AC system.

3. Fuse

This component functions as a safety device for the AC system's electrical system, preventing short circuits or overloads.

4. Amplifier

This component functions to adjust the car AC temperature according to your desired temperature.

5. Extra Fan

This component functions to stabilize the freon temperature to keep it cool.

6. Blower

This component functions to filter the air in the car cabin area. In addition, the blower will also gradually cool the temperature inside the cabin by lowering the temperature degree.

7. Blower Control

This component functions to control the blower speed, compressor clutch, and air circulation in the AC. Additionally, the blower control will send signals to the AC amplifier component regarding the temperature condition in the cabin.

8. Magnetic Clutch

This component functions as a disconnect and connect for the pulley engine rotation with the compressor shaft.

9. Thermostat

This component functions as a cabin temperature controller, so if the cabin temperature changes, that change will be communicated to the compressor component.

10. Temperature Sensor

This component functions as a temperature informant so that you can monitor the AC circulation condition for any issues.

11. Relay

This component functions as a sender of electric current to some AC components in the car, such as the magnetic clutch, extra fan, blower, and so on.

12. Wires

This component functions as a medium that channels and connects the electric current voltage from one AC component to another in the car AC electrical system circuit.

Thus is the review of the car AC electrical system circuit along with its components. Hopefully, it can enhance your knowledge. If there are issues with the car AC system, you can take it to the nearest Daihatsu dealer
