1. No Cold Air, Only Wind

2. When the AC is On, the Compressor Does Not Stop Working
In a properly functioning AC system, usually when the AC switch is turned on, the magnet clutch will remain engaged. However, the magnetic clutch can disengage at certain intervals when the freon pressure is at its maximum. Additionally, you will often hear a knocking sound from the engine compartment when the AC is turned on.
When you find that the magnetic clutch remains engaged since the AC was first turned on, it can be a sign that the car's freon has run out. When this happens, the car AC freon should be replaced with a new one. This way, the car AC can again emit cold and cool air.
3. No Dew on the Low Pressure AC Hose
Next, you can check the sign of depleted car freon through the low pressure hose on the AC. There are 2 hoses from the compressor, namely the high pressure hose which is smaller and leads from the compressor to the condenser. Meanwhile, the other hose, which is larger and leads from the evaporator to the compressor, is the low pressure hose.
You only need to check the low pressure hose. Under normal conditions, this hose should have dew. However, if there is no dew and it feels warm to the touch, it can be assured that the freon in your car has run out.
