Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Rates Officially Increase as of October 19, 2024: Here are the Details
JAKARTA, OCTOBER 2024, PT Jasa Marga Persero Tbk officially raised the toll rates on the Jakarta-Tangerang and Tangerang-Merak segment of the Tomang-West Tangerang-Cikupa interchange by Rp500. This increase will take effect on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 00:00 WIB.
The Head of the Regional Division of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, Widiyatmiko, explained that this toll rate adjustment policy is in line with Law No. 38 of 2004 concerning Roads. According to this regulation, evaluation and adjustment of rates are conducted every two years to align with the inflation rate that affects operational costs.
Reasons for the Toll Rate Increase
This rate adjustment not only considers the inflation rate but also includes efforts to improve services provided by Jasa Marga, particularly in transaction, traffic, and construction aspects. The enhancement of facilities is expected to provide better comfort and safety for toll road users.
